Both players were seen arguing over set-pieces it what was a very embarrassing situation for Unai Emery and PSG.
Neymar who is PSG’s record signing left Barcelona to be the center of attention at PSG. But Cavani couldn’t care less and is not giving the Brazilian any preferential treatment.
Having already argued over a free-kick, they were seen again battling who takes a 79th minute free-kick.
And reports after the game says both players almost came to blows in the dressing room, and that claim was eventually confirmed by PSG manager, Unai Emery.
However, the situation appears to have been brought under control, with reports from French outlets L’Equipe and RMC saying that in training today, Neymar apologised to Cavani and the rest of his teammates.
Neymar who is yet to fully grasp the French language, spoke in his native tongue, while PSG captain and fellow Brazilian, Thiago Silva, acted as the translator.
The apology comes after a lunch organised by Dani Alves for the team to settle their differences
